Can I change the gift ensemble?
In order not to overwhelm our customers with photographic choices on over 30 themed gift ensembles, we have shown our gift ensembles in a box fabric pattern that we think works best for that choice. We know many of you will be perfectly happy to order as seen, we also know there will be occasions where a different box choice and colour may better suit your recipient. We are happy to make this change for you.
For example, you may order the gift ensemble of your choice and then tell us in the order notes section that you prefer the colours/box pattern seen in another. If we need any further clarification, we will contact you by email or phone. To better serve your specific gift needs, we have included a section on the order page where you can tell us specific details such as the recipients favourite colour, their age, the occasion, any detail that you think will help us tailor your selection with a more personal touch. We may have questions or recommendations, so please enter all contact information on your order form.
How does ordering work?
We have made every attempt to provide ease of ordering on our web-site. When you have made your selection, simply hit Order Me Now on your selection page or ORDER and it will take you to the easy to use order page. A photo of your selection will appear with price details and ask you which UPS delivery service you wish to use. Fill in your order details, payment method and your order is placed- it’s that easy.
Upon completing your online order, you will receive a payment and order confirmation page to your email address from your credit card provider.
How is my order processed? When will I get it?
Orders are shipped within 24-48 hours of receiving your order. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the following business day. We ship orders from Monday to Thursday (excluding holidays).Your gift arrival date is primarily based on the shipping method you select so please bear this in mind if you have a special delivery date. The more notice we have to package and ship your order, the better we can ensure it’s timely delivery. We do make every effort to accommodate a rush order and will contact you to confirm this request as it may require a more costly overnight or 2-day shipping method. We regret we cannot guarantee RUSH orders to the United States due to an unlikely, but possible delay with customs clearing.
Our gift products are selected for their selective style and quality. Because of this they are likely enjoying media coverage as many of our gift items are seen in Oprah, InStyle, People, etc. At times, this can mean we can experience a delay in replenishing stock on a particular item due to popular demand. If this happens, we will contact you and give you the option of waiting, replacing, or canceling your order.
Are there any other ways to pay for my order?
If you have any concerns about providing your charge card information online, you may complete your order through check-out, then print out your order form and fax to 519-735-1064 or call customer service directly by phone Monday to Friday, 10:00 am - 5 pm at 519-735-0502 or toll-free at 1-866-395-lala (5252).
Presently, all prices are in Canadian dollars. We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. In addition, you can pay by check or money order. Please complete the online order form, then mail the order form and check to Oooh la la – Cadeau. Please visit the contact us page for our mailing address.
What shipping methods are used?
We have selected UPS for all shipping in North America. Their superior tracking system keeps us on top of the delivery process at all times. We check all delivery schedules daily as it is of utmost importance to us that your Oooh la la gift be delivered as requested.
At order check-out you will be asked if you prefer us to contact your customer to advise them to expect a special delivery (we never spoil the surprise by telling them who it’s from) or if you wish the delivery to be a surprise in which case we will not contact them. Unless you request a signature, UPS will leave packages in protected areas if no one is home. Oooh la la – Cadeau is located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada across from Detroit, Michigan. All gift ensembles are hand-wrapped and shipped from this location.
Local (Windsor) deliveries are handled by a local delivery service and the charge is $10.00. Deliveries to surrounding county areas such as Surrounding County ( Essex) deliveries are $15.00.
Will I get a tracking number when order is shipped?
Upon order confirmation you will be notified by UPS with a tracking number for your delivery if requested.
Is ordering online safe? How can I be sure?
Oooh la la - Cadeau offers a safe way to shop online by encrypting the ordering process using a "secure certificate". This means of sending information ensures that no one can intercept your order and compromise security. In fact, our security provider, COMODO, offers a $10,000 warranty against identity theft by using this website. Oooh la la - Cadeau transmits all orders over a secure Internet connections using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology. Order and address records are stored in an unreadable, encrypted format at all times.
Is my privacy protected?
Here at Oooh la la – Cadeau we have a strict policy of keeping customer information confidential. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal information is used to process your order and will not be shared or disclosed with any third party source.
We do not store any credit card information.
How are GST and PST calculated?
All orders shipped within Canada are subject to a 6% GST goods and service tax.
Orders shipped within Ontario are also subject to a 8% PST provincial sales tax. Orders shipped to the United States are not subject to any taxes. Orders under $200.00 are not subject to any customs duties from Canada to the United States.
Food products shipped to the United States are subject to FDA pre-approval so we do not ship gift ensembles including food products to the United States.
Orders over $200.00 may be subject to some duties or brokerage charges which will be charged to your credit card.
Is there a return policy?
