Upcoming Breast Cancer Surgery

We long-distance shipped the exquisite Parlez-moi- d’ Armour ensemble and added in Modern Floral notecards for her post-surgery thank you’s, a box of Saxon Fleur de Sel Chocolates (she loves chocolate-small enough to fit her robe pocket) and a half-dozen of our tasty and gorgeous Pink Ribbon Gourmet Cookies. Message was written on our Pink Ribbon Card with Hope. Courage. Love on front. Gorgeously and generously-wrapped in taupe and pink.

Sympathy & Comfort

The beginning’s of our Sympathy & Comfort condolence ensemble started with a quick conversation at the local bookstore with an old friend. Still grieving the loss of her mother after 2 years, she had been told by her therapist to buy a box and put all her mother’s written and photographic memories in it as a way to find closure. This got me to thinking about where and how to properly store the sympathy cards, floral tribute cards, guest book, and personal keepsake items so it would be easily and beautifully accessible to provide healing and comfort in the days ahead.

Canine Companion Condolence

To soothe the woman who adores her canine companions and had recently lost 1 of her 2 canine children, we sent along a box with Linen Photo Album (filled some pages with downloaded with photos of her pet), a few of the soothing Elizabeth W pamper products and a little linen bag filled with organic dog treats for the remaining canine sister.

Tough Time

For the woman who had more than she should handle, we were asked to send a “slow-down and breathe” ensemble filled with Tea products from Tea Forte, a journal to clear her head, bath pouch and candle to decompress, and lots of chocolate to raise her endorphins.

Party Girl

For a 50th birthday trip to Paris, we wrapped up a travel ensemble full of French style. A copy of Dropped Threads (a short story collection written by Canadian women Authors-favorite read for 2007) for airport and travel time, a Paris notebook for trip notes, a fold-out Paris street guide, a damask travel umbrella and tote that folds down to nothing, our Mini purse file for passport and receipts. Oooh la la!

Almost-Bridezilla

We filled a request for a pre-wedding gift for the stressed-out bride. Our romantic and exquisite notebook from France and it’s “Lovenote” message helped remind her of the who and why of the romantic day ahead. We think this gorgeous ensemble is perfect for any couple.

Goodbye to the Perfect Boss

Her devoted staff wanted a gift that would match their Retiring boss’s list of Thing To Do When I Retire. We started with a boxed set of Tiffany playing Cards (for learning bridge) and bridge pad, a travel guide to Europe, a yoga instruction guide and mat, just to name a few.
